We loved this place. It was recommended by a local and since we are moving here this place is forever on our list of go to places. All our food was great. Our waitress was nice and it was wonderful seeing a historic site repurposed into something everyone can still enjoy.

My wife and I were on a business trip and stopped in Bedford Virginia to meet Gary Howard and his staff at Benefit Solutions Insurance Agency. After our meeting, my wife Carol, asked Gary where was a Great place to have dinner. "Olde Liberty Station" was Gary's quick and passionate reply. He then began to share some reasons why we would enjoy the experience. He was so correct. The food was delicious; prepared perfectly and with good portions. I had an Oriental Salmon Salad and my wife had a Grilled Chicken Salad. Both were as good as we have tasted! The atmosphere was especially awesome--a renovated "Liberty Train Station" that once provided a needed service to the Bedford community and surrounding counties. The Historical ambiance was delightful. The service was also extraordinary friendly and efficient. Our waitress, LeAnne, was excellent and took care of us with grace and pride, as if we were Royalty. If you are traveling in the Southwest Virginia area, my wife Carol and I would highly recommend routing dinner plans through Bedford for a great dinning experience at the Olde Liberty Station. One of the best restaurants in Virginia! The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. My husband and I were visiting Bedford from Northern Virginia and discovered Liberty Station after searching “best restaurants in Bedford” — and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. Despite being busy, everything ran smoothly and we never had to wait long. Bonus points for the delicious moscato! We highly recommend it.

This is such an awesome place. When I first walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the cool ambiance. It has a historical look, keeping the feel of the old train station even after the fire devastation 10 years ago. I was really impressed with the food quality and options. I tried the spinach artichoke appetizer, cranberry chicken salad, and the barbecue ribs with the sweet potato casserole and french fries. I also had the complimentary bread with the apple cinnamon butter. Everything was fresh and delicious! I really enjoyed the salad and the sweet potato casserole. I was slightly disappointed that the ribs were overcooked. It took away from the flavor. I see the potential and would like to try it again. I also tried the speciality margarita. It was refreshing and sweet. I ordered a second one! Unfortunately this time I was too full to order a dessert, but definitely will do so on the next visit. So many delicious options and at a great price point. Excellent customer service as well!

The food is simple but good. The service is excellent. Only 4 stars for atmosphere because of I prefer a quiet restaurant and it was quite loud.

This old train station, converted into a restaurant and bar, still holds the timely atmosphere of the station while serving delicious food with great service. The weekends can get busy, making finding parking difficult, but the wait is worth it. This is one of the best dine-in restaurants in Bedford.
